About Mary
Mary Silk is a registered psychologist committed to supporting people who are struggling with periods of mental instability, navigating challenging life events, or simply keen to build healthier lifestyle habits. She works with children, adolescents and adults, and believes everyone has the capacity to improve aspects of their life — therapy is about realising that potential, together.
Mary brings extensive experience across some of the most demanding areas of mental health care:
She has managed a broad range of presentations — from depression, anxiety and adjustment difficulties through to emotional dysregulation, personality disorders and severe mental illness including psychosis — and has a keen interest in complex trauma.
Everyone has the capacity to improve aspects of their life. Working together, we can realise those abilities — and that potential. — Mary Silk

My Approach
There's no one-size-fits-all in good psychological care. Mary draws on a range of well-established, evidence-based therapies and shapes them around your goals, your history and your pace.
Send an enquiry or ask your GP about a referral. No question is too small.
We take time to understand what's happening for you and what you'd like to change.
Clear, collaborative treatment goals — reviewed as you go, adjusted as life moves.
From short-term intervention to longer-term therapy, in person or via telehealth.
A Small Gift
Box breathing is a simple technique used to settle the nervous system: in for four, hold for four, out for four, hold for four. Follow the circle — even one minute can soften a stressful moment.
